It reminds us of the faith of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and his willingness to sacrifice for the sake of Allah.
In honour of this legacy, Muslims around the world perform Qurbani (Uḍḥīyyah) sharing the blessings of Eid with those most in need.
By giving your Qurbani through us, you are not only fulfilling your obligation, but ensuring that vulnerable families are able to enjoy the blessings of Eid, often the only time they will eat meat all year.
You can donate online, selecting from our list of countries to ensure your Qurbani reaches those in greatest need.
Animals are sourced locally, meeting Shari'ah requirements, ensuring they are healthy, of the correct age, and well cared for. The sacrifice is performed after Eid prayers and in compliance with Islamic guidelines.
Fresh meat is packed and distributed swiftly, reaching families in refugee camps, remote villages, and urban slums. Our door-to-door and tent-to-tent distributions ensure no one is left behind.
By donating to Humanity Without Borders, your contribution becomes a source of comfort and hope for those in need, while fulfilling your spiritual obligations.
Qurbani, also known as Uḍḥīyyah, is the act of sacrificing an animal during Eid al-Adha to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s (peace be upon him) willingness to sacrifice his son for Allah. The meat is distributed between friends, family, and those in need.
Qurbani is carried out after the Eid prayer, from the 10th to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah, in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
In 2026, this is expected to fall between Wednesday 27th May and Saturday 30th May, depending on the sighting of the moon.
All sacrifices are performed within these days in the country you select, under the supervision of our scholars and teams on the ground.
Qurbani is wājib (compulsory) for every sane, adult Muslim who meets the Niṣāb threshold (minimum wealth level).
Qurbani becomes compulsory for anyone who owns wealth, in excess of their basic needs [i.e. the equivalent to the value of 612.36 grams of silver which is £1,159.71 (as of Tuesday 21st April 2026). This is the same threshold used for Sadaqah Fitr.
We kindly encourage donors to complete their Qurbani donations by Monday 25th May 2026 to ensure timely allocation.
As spaces in each country are limited, we recommend donating early to avoid disappointment.

As narrated by Abū Dāwūd, Rasūlullah ﷺ slaughtered two rams—one on behalf of himself and his family, and the other on behalf of the ummah.
Additionally, it is reported that Rasūlullah ﷺ instructed ʿAlī (Allah be pleased with him) to perform Uḍḥīyyah on his behalf, which he continued to do after the Prophet ﷺ's passing.
