Eid al-Adha is a sacred time of reflection, gratitude, & generosity

It is a reminder of the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his willingness to sacrifice for the sake of Allah. This act of devotion inspires millions of Muslims worldwide to perform Qurbani (Uḍḥīyyah), sharing the blessings of Eid with those in need.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) not only upheld this legacy but also commanded his followers to continue it. He said, “Whoever can afford to offer a sacrifice but does not do so, let him not approach our place of prayer” (Ibn Mājah).

By donating your Qurbani through us, you not only fulfill your religious obligation but also bring hope and joy to those who struggle to meet their basic needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Qurbani and Uḍḥīyyah?

Qurbani, also known as Uḍḥīyyah, is the act of sacrificing an animal during Eid al-Adha to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s (peace be upon him) willingness to sacrifice his son for Allah. The meat is distributed between friends, family, and those in need.

Qurbani is wājib (compulsory) for every sane, adult Muslim who meets the Niṣāb threshold (minimum wealth level).

Uḍḥīyyah becomes wājib for anyone who owns wealth, in excess of their basic needs, equivalent to the value of 612.36 grams of silver, equivalent to the value of £496.54 (as of Friday 25th April). This is the same threshold used for ṣadaqat al-fiṭr.

Yes, you can perform Qurbani on behalf of a loved one, including deceased family members. Simply make the intention when donating.

All Qurbanis are overseen by qualified scholars and performed according to Islamic principles. We ensure the animals meet age and health requirements, and the sacrifice is carried out after Eid prayers.

We prioritise the most vulnerable, including refugees, widows, orphans, and families in remote or underserved areas. Distributions are done door-to-door, tent-to-tent, or at designated collection points.

Yes, you can give multiple Qurbanis. Many donors choose to donate for themselves and their family members or as Sadaqah Jariyah for deceased loved ones.

As narrated by Abū Dāwūd, Rasūlullah ﷺ slaughtered two rams—one on behalf of himself and his family, and the other on behalf of the ummah.
Additionally, it is reported that Rasūlullah ﷺ instructed ʿAlī (Allah be pleased with him) to perform Uḍḥīyyah on his behalf, which he continued to do after the Prophet ﷺ's passing.
