With a population of 1.2 billion people, India is home to one-third of the world’s poor. Poverty is a significant challenge in rural areas, where access to education and job opportunities is limited. Child poverty is also a major issue, with around one-third of Indian children living in poverty.
Since 2017, Humanity Without Borders has been actively involved in providing aid to vulnerable communities across India, with a focus on long-term projects that empower individuals and create sustainable change. Our relief teams work tirelessly to address the root causes of poverty and provide access to basic necessities like food, shelter, and education.
Areas we are making a difference include; Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat , Rajasthan Uttar Pradesh West Bengal.
